A couple of quick things

I found a website that has coupons (links to coupons & rebates) for prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs and medicines for pets. It is pretty easy to find the meds that you use, and see if there is a coupon available! www.internetdrugcoupons.com

Also, there is a great money making deal at Target right now...but you will have to do some coupon hunting to make it work for you. The deal runs until 12/15...so plenty of time!

When you buy 4 Glade Scented Oil Apple Cinnamon Candle holders @ $2.50 you get a $5 gift card!

There are $2 off coupons at Cub and Kmart (possibly other places..that is just where I have found them) in the little blinking coupon dispensers. So, find 4 of them and you pay $2 for the 4 candleholders and get a $5 giftcard back!
The super great thing about this deal is...inside each candle holder is another $2 off coupon! So you can do it over and over again!

If you can't find the $2 off coupons, here is a link for BOGO free...still a great deal.

I need feedback.

So, I have been doing this blog for over a week now, and I would love to get some input on what everyone likes/ dislikes. I don't want to needlessly ramble about things that no one cares about. Have any of my posts helped you? Have you printed any of the coupons I posted? Sent away for any freebies?
I need feedback! Let me know! Leave a comment, you don't have to sign up for Blogger, just leave a comment and put your name in the comment.

My Walgreens Trip Today

Today at Walgreens I bought 1 bottle of Pert Shampoo, a pencil, and 3 boxes of Benefiber Drink Mix (16 ct stick Packs). They look like the picture above, except they are Kiwi Strawberry.

I paid $0.33 out of pocket and received an $8.00 RR coupon for my next trip!

This would be a great starter deal for everyone. I will break it down.

The deal is you buy 3 Benefiber products, get $8.00 in Register Rewards to use on your next purchase.

3 Kiwi Strawberry Stick Packs @ $7.99.
Use the Walgreens coupon for $5.00 off each one in the little coupon books in their store. (Not the weekly ad.)-You only need one Walgreens coupon it takes the discount off of each)
Use (3) $2.00 off Benefiber coupons from last weeks paper.
This brings your total to $3.00, and you get $8.00 back!

Stay tuned and I can tell you how to roll that $8.00 into another deal.

Kmart Super Doubles!!! 10/26-11/1

I am so excited! Kmart is doing another super double coupon event where they double coupons up to and including $2.00!!! (Internet printables do not double) The stores in Minnesota that are doing it are: Monticello, Waite Park, Willmar, Marshall, Alexandria, and Bemidji. If you aren't from Minnesota and you are reading this, let me a message and I can let you know if there are any stores near you participating. (Sorry Marilyn, there are no stores in TX that are doing it this time. Do they even have Kmart in Texas? :) )

This event is a good way to get a bunch of free stuff! I will type out a list of the free with coupon items if anyone is interested. Just leave a comment.

Wi Fi at McDonalds?

I just won a free hour of WiFi at McDonalds.
Have you ever gone to McDonald's and thought..."Dang, I wish I could surf the net with this laptop here while eating these McNuggets...as my kids play on this germ infested playground."?
Yeah, me neither. Weird.

Well, if anybody does have a hankering for some free WiFi at Mc Donalds...let me know, I can hook you up!

This looked like a good one.

How to get your coupon stash going.

So, you ask...where do you get all of your coupons? Here are just a few ideas on how to get yourself a stash of nice coupons.

-The most obvious one is to subscribe to the newspaper. I have the Sunday StarTribune delivered to me, for $1 a week. I have recently realized that the Pioneer Press is $1.00 on Sundays, so I have started buying the early edition of the Pioneer Press on Saturday. This way I get two sets of coupons, and if there happens to be any super wonderful coupons I have time to buy a third paper. (I haven't done this yet, but I am sure I will some time soon. :) )

-Beg friends, neighbors, co-workers for their inserts. I was at K-Mart on double coupon day and ran into another crazy couponer. We chatted about the whole coupon clipper subculture on the internet, and I asked her where she gets all of her coupons. She knew someone who lived in a seniors apartment complex where every resident receives a Sunday paper. Her friend gathers the extra inserts for her instead of tossing them. She had so many copies of coupons she gave me 5 coupons- which gave me 5 free bottles of shampoo! She also told me that was the FOURTH Kmart she had gone to. Her total after coupons(she was ahead of me in line) $4.50! Sorry, went off on a tangent there...

-Always be on the lookout for coupons...those little blinking dispensers at Cub, the peel off labels on products at Target, the tear pads on the beverage coolers at gas stations. Take them now, and use them when there is a good sale to match them up to. This is a good way to get free/ cheap stuff. For example, those gas station coupons used on a beverage on sale at Walmart is a way better deal than taking it off gas station prices.

-Email companies that you like and ask for coupons.

-Start a coupon trade box. This would be great if you belong to a church, have a community center, or coworkers that like coupons. Everyone puts the coupons that they don't need in a box and you pull out the ones you do want. Here is a great article on starting a trade box.

-Make friends with your local gas station or grocery store. They usually end up throwing away the extra inserts after Sunday, so ask if they will set aside extras for you.

-EBay coupon auctions. I haven't done this, but it is out there.

-Join www.afullcup.com This is an excellent resource for the beginning couponer. There is a thread (here) where they pair up coupon newbies with veterans and the vets send the newbies an envelope of coupons! So join that site, and you can get your stash started!
